It's time!

What did I get myself into?

Hey everybody!

I figured it was time, I’ve basically been blogging since 2012, when I moved across the ocean from the Netherlands to the US to study at Berklee College of Music. If you dig deep enough, you will find this post on my website …

I would write about my adventures, studies, and music. When I moved to New York in 2015, I lost track of my blogging and didn’t write so much.

That said, I did write some newsletters, which were always a summary of several months of running around in the Big Apple, flying around Europe, Canada and even Korea playing shows, recording, and releasing new music. If I look back, it’s been quite the journey, and I think it’s time to digest some of the stories that I did not get to write down.

So, will this be a trip down memory lane? Not quite.

I want you, dear reader, to go on this journey with me. To laugh with me at all the crazy stories, even funnier people, and mind-boggling music marathons I have to undertake to get my music and my teaching out there and inspire, entertain, wow, educate, and connect with people.

Some of it will be stories from when I just walked off the plane into Boston and jumped out of the first Chinatown bus (Fung wah for the win! ) I ever took to New York, but some of the snippets, nuggets, blurbs, and stories are more recent or even written about something that just happened.
